Wood:
Three 1X4 x 96″ long Pine boards. Select #1 (knot free) wood. If you don’t mind the look of knots in your project use a lower cost #2 grade of lumber.
One 1X6 x 48″ long Pine board.
Tools:
Hand held jigsaw (sabre saw) with a smooth cutting non-chipping scrolling blade, table saw, drill and 5/32″ dia. bit.
Materials:
Steel Pipe Strap – 2 ft. length.
Screws – fourteen #10 x 3/8″ long pan head.
Supplies:
Transfer paper (#CARB2), pencil, clear tape & scissors.
Sand paper – medium & fine grits.
Wood filler – non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws.
Paint brush – 2″ wide brush.
Paint or Stain (optional):
Outdoor Stain or water based primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat and a outdoor paint of choice.
Sealer:
High-grade, non-yellowing, semi-gloss UV protected project sealer (#POLYQT) for outdoor protection.
