Wood:
one 22″ x 75″ piece of 1/2″ or 3/4″ thick exterior grade plywood, preferably 5 ply for better stability
two blocks of scrap wood (for optional mounting)
Tools:
hand held sabre saw (jig saw) with a smooth cutting non-chipping, scrolling blade
phillips screwdriver
electric drill and a 3/16″ drill bit
Hardware: (for displaying)
three 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ zinc coated steel L-brackets
six #8 x 1/2″ long flat head zinc coated screws
Supplies:
transfer paper, pencil & clear tape
sand paper-medium & fine grits
wood filler-non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws
paint brushes-2″ wide brush
Paint: exterior latex enamel: cream or off white
