two 8″ x 24″ long boards of 1/8″ thick red oak
one 4″ x 24″ long board of 1/2″ thick walnut (#HWW24)
one 8″ x 24″ long board of 1/2″ thick maple (#HWM28)
one 12″ x 12″ piece of 1/8″ thick plywood
Tools:
Table saw, scroll saw or band saw and a hand held jig saw all with fine cutting non-chipping blades, electric drill, 1/4″ dia. drill bit
Supplies:
transfer paper (#CARB), pencil & clear tape
sandpaper-medium & fine grits
wood filler-non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws
paint brush-3/4″ and 1/4″ wide brushes
wood glue-interior
masking tape-2″ wide, easily removable painters tape
Hardware:
sawtooth hanger-two, standard metal – required for mounting (#SAWH)
Sealer: quality, non-yellowing, UV protected, polyurethane to protect the wood, preferably oil based for greater enhancement of the hardwood
